Remember when Reuters publishes a story about Russian military bombing a hospital in Mariupol (Ukraine). For added persuasion, they add photos of a pregnant girl who was in the hospital.
Multiple news sources redistribute the same story (perhaps changing some of the wording for effect).
Absolutely heartbreaking stuff.
Within minutes, the story is everywhere and everybody hates Russia, as planned.
Except that the story is nonsense.
The hospital had not been in operation for months, and was taken over by Ukrainian , which is why it was bombed by Russian military.
What about the pregnant girl?
Her name is Marianna Podgurskaya and she is a Ukrainian fashion blogger and, in this case, crisis actor.
And, yes, crisis actors are real.
Lest we forget the Kuwaiti girl called Nayirah, who testified before the US Congress, about how Iraqi troops killed 312 babies.
Which turned out to be nonsense.
It was another lie designed to trigger public sympathy for American involvement in Iraq.
What else are they lying about now?
