So what do you think they would?

Send a nuckear missile to Moscow?

Thin k about it, apart from sanctions that have no power
They could invade Russia by land but that wouldnt stop him him sending more warheads

And how could they start a war with Russia without breaking NATOs code?

EU warns Russian army will be ‘annihilated’ if Putin uses nuclear weapon on Ukraine

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell warned Moscow on Thursday that its forces would be “annihilated” by the West’s military response if Russian President Vladimir Putin uses nuclear weapons against Ukraine.

“Putin is saying he is not bluffing. Well, he cannot afford bluffing, and it has to be clear that the people supporting Ukraine and the European Union and the Member States, and the United States and NATO are not bluffing neither,” Borrell said at the opening of a Diplomatic Academy in Brussels.

“Any nuclear attack against Ukraine will create an answer, not a nuclear answer but such a powerful answer from the military side that the Russian Army will be annihilated,” Borrell added.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has warned Russia it faces “severe consequences” if it launches a nuclear attack on its pro-Western neighbor.

“There would be a sharp response — almost certainly drawing a physical response from many allies, and potentially from NATO itself,” a senior NATO official said Wednesday.

I stopped caring about Ukraine after they pushed blacks off trains and herded them up like cattle.  Even threw them off the bus to let sheep and dogs on board.  Racist bastards all of them.

Russian forces retreated from Kherson, the city already occupied by Ukraine.

Looks like they've lost control of most or possibly all the territory over the river.

Gen. Petraeus says Russia is:

* Losing on the battlefield,
* Its irreversible
* And he cannot win the war

As an objective credibility marker he references when Kherson is re-taken as a key sign of the above

Well if Putin withdraws and Zelensky claims a win at least between them they have pretty much plundered billions from the West making it a damn sight weaker than it was before the war.

Short term, there have been no winners. But Russia is the ultimate loser. Medium to long term, the west wins bigtime. With Russia nobbled and UA out of Putin’s grasp for good, the west has dealt a blow to authoritarian regimes and is far more alert to the management of its relationship with China.

That was pretty much every country in the world except Sweden during Covid lockdowns.

Sorry, I didn’t see any suspension of the rule of law or democracy in the U.K. during lockdown. So not sure what you are referring to.

Haha. Ok. So, a democratically elected government, made decisions about a healthcare emergency (not even considering the merits of this) and we didn’t suddenly become an autocratic regime then. Good to know.

a democratically elected government made decisions that the vast majority of the country would not have followed unless forced

You really think if there had been a vote on lockdowns it would have got voted in?

And the democratically elected government totally ignored the rules themselves knowing full well that there was no danger from covid or else they wouldnt have been having drinks parties after work every day.

And democracy is an illusion

13 million people voted Conservative out of around 32 million who voted

The country has 75 million people, granted not all old enough to vote but that leaves a considerable amount of people who dont want or dont care enough to put a tick in the box

there will be a far less turn out next election because this current government has single handedly destroyed what was left of anyones faith in any political party

You, quite justifiably, have issues with the behaviour of our government in regards to covid. At the next election, you can vote for someone else. Point being, we are not an autocratic regime.

Voter apathy is not a measure of democracy not working.

If people want change they have to demonstrate it by voting. If things get bad enough, the Tories will be out at the next election, providing there is a credible opposition. To suggest we are in anyway an autocracy is incorrect. To suggest that we deserve better leadership is absolutely valid.

There isnt.
Its the same in the USA, and now most European countries, all governments are making a total fuck up of their economies

This is to make sure when the times right and voters have totally lost faith in the countries governments it will be time to bring in a "one world government" to bring in the New World Order.

You heard it here.....

I always laugh when I hear that one. Just take a look around, humans are tribal. A one world government will never happen. Do you think any of the autocratic leaders are going to sign up? Not even to mention the theocratic nutcases.

The need for global cooperation is real on major issues like the climate. I can see a more likely outcome being some loose collaboration on that, but only after some hideous calamities have befallen enough to finally get governments to work together to do something. After that, it’ll be the usual human bickering / ideological disputes.

If you dont think its man made why do we need to co-operate?

If its not caused by man it cant be controlled by man.

Make your fucking mind up

Its like trying to stop the tide coming in...
