To assassinate Putin? Admit it, we all thought about it. A couple of CIA operatives, under the deepest cover. Place a marksman from 2000yds from the Kremlin. They must know his movements from the minute he gets out of bed. The name of the whore he's banging. Or better yet a Manchurian candidate.

Putin is former KGB, the cruelest of gangsters and doesn't fuck around.

Shit, people have disappeared in NYC after escaping Russia and trying to run away from Putin's people and they turn up dead with steel pipes shove down their throats deep into their cecums.

I heard the stories that he was KGB. It may be true or it might be something that he put out there to compensate for always being the shortest guy in the room. In any case being CIA or KGB doesn't mean you are a Jason Bourne like killer. He might have been a pencil pusher. There are plenty of those in the espionage occupation.

Ending Putin

It would have to be by a coup, with a strong political/military backing. Putin's family, somewhere in a underground bunker in eastern Siberia as rumored, killing would also make a final statement that most of his blood line is gone. That's a very old Slavic tradition.

Killing Putin in a public display would be even better for the Russian mind. Live TV, who knows.

you have to have a plan to implement afterward - plan ahead - which the CIA always does

you can't take out Putin - they prob have other ways to control him but taking him out would not solve anything -

I've thought about it with both him and Xi. My guess it would probably have to be an inside job or an outside hit team from another country. But then again we do have Seal Teams (DEVGRU) and Delta Forces but nothing will happen as long as this administration is in.

Exactly you would have to pay someone in his inner circle to do it you are not getting a foreign operative close. Also assassinating world leaders' kind of sets a bad precedent even if they are shitty leaders. His own people may do it soon enough. The oligarchs are pissed their yachts are being seized
