You absolutely can not have a draft in America ever again it is one thing when 10% don't comply in the 60s but entirely different now 90% would not comply. You simply can not arrest an entire generation. You want soldiers its a job like any other pay more money and you will get more soldiers. You offer me money I will go tomorrow you try and draft me I will laugh my ass off and stay home

No need for conscription, a smaller professional army is far more effective.

They're people who want to fight, they probably enjoy the military life/culture and they're well trained and many are experienced.

Most conscripts are not going to want to be there, they are forced, and will usually have less training and motivation compared to a volunteer or professional soldier.

I don't have kids, and that war is none of our fucking business.  There is no amount you could pay me fight over there, or anywhere else but here.  There hasn't been a war that we should have been involved with since WWII.
