I have to laugh every time some says Dorian has shitty genetics. The guy was a true mesomorph if there ever was one. He also had the ability to get into sick conditioning, not becasue of some secret formula, but becasue genetically he had that ability. And, while his structure was not the "prettiest", it wasn't bad.
That said, there are lots of blocky mass monsters that never amounted to much even though they were huge and shredded. Remember a guy named Achim Albrect or Jim Quin or even Dave Palumbo? All big. All shredded. All to ugly to be tier 1 pros...
Achim was my training partner, not only was he a tier 1 pro, but in the 90's, was the highest paid weider athlete. As far as Jim Quinn, not aestetic, but very successful,, and made great money in the sport.
Funny you mention these guys, because they are what i call bodybuilding, not little pretty girlie lookin guys who have nice structures.
Nice structure=small bodybuilder. The bigger guy always wins:Haney,labrada? Dorian/wheeler/ray?
