Yeah I think my best all time bench set was 315 barbell on incline for 6 no spot when I was 25 years old in the Army 20 years ago. I cant and wont try that now but I also have had some injuries since then

Now I don't do such low reps as I had pec tear number 3/4 last year. I am still doing 225 for plenty of reps though I can still get 315 but no need. I did start lowering the reps and increasing the weight at the tail end of my workout today more than 225 less than 315 is all I will say but reps. But not rushing into another tear doing singles and doubles.

High revving 8k/9k redlining is a thing of imports and exotics primarily. With many manufacturers moving onto forced induction, very few do now
