Been saying this since I heard about The Witcher. There's no way he's not got the role. The guy is made for it. His brother is a colonel in the Royal Marines, he's got the textbook looks and style, he's young still - he could take the franchise to another level as long as they stop with all the family-friendly, modern Bond nonsense. I'm still optimistic.

Whomever is chosen, he should be white, British and Henry Cavill.  Cavill was fine as Napoleon Solo in the fairly recent Man from U.N.C.L.E. and is a handsome man with a decent build that would do well in the iconic role of Bond.

As Residue states, Hoagy Carmichael was considered what Bond should look like and there is a drawing out there done by creator Ian Fleming that shows Bond as being what he is expected to be.

Anything woke would kill the franchise.  I will NEVER see a  Bond that is black, brown, yellow, red, queer, dyke, et al.    As one of Q's staff once said (and I paraphrase), "It's good to have you back 007.  Now we'll see plenty of violence and gratuitous sex"...

Superman gave DC Universe  the problem that's he's just too powerful a superhero compared to the rest of the DC superheros (Justice League) They found it hard to use the character in team ups because he just makes the rest irrelevant.

They are now just gonna focus on a young Superman storyline, I'm guessing separate from the Justice League stuff, so Cavill got the boot.
