My earlier videos did have it....intro screens, used a video camera, etc....but it take time that I don't have and Aaron told me to focus on putting out more content and worry about the fancy stuff later when I built the channel up for it to be eligible for Youtube partnership.   So I simply just started filming from my Galaxy S9 phone holding it up by hand so I could shoot a quick video and get back to my job.  I now use an Galaxy S21 attached to a tripod.

I intend to start doing that for any videos that are not time sensitive on the weekends now that I've decided to build up the channel and it will have those flashy screens, I've already purchased the software for it and I have a new intro screen now set up for it.

Vince, when will you be using the new intro/graphics?

Hey Rob what was the fascination with this guy (and this might be after everyone went their separate ways, so maybe you don’t know)?  Was it to prove that your supplements worked, because they worked on Genova?

Or we you thinking his social media influence would be good advertising?

I never understand why people were entertained by Genova.

It was all PJ, I was completely against bringing Jason on board IML but he insisted that he would help sales. I still remember our phone call when I told PJ to fire him, we got in a big argument over it. In the end Jason screwed PJ over... so many things I could say "I told you so" to those morons.

Thanks. I honestly was baffled by the amount of attention that was given to Genova.

It seemed like the videos were released in real time,  is that right? If Jason would have had a physical transformation it could have been beneficial but it would seemed they would have done a little more homework or behind the scenes prep to get him on the right track.

I was not really involved, remember we lived in different states and I had my own companies to run, I was mostly a silent partner that provided the capital and my two best selling products to start BSL. (Super-DMZ and Methadrol Extreme)

A lot of people who followed Genova were just guys who liked to train and think the competitive side of bodybuilding is a joke. Genova training for a contest was kinda like a real life parody.

Also Genova did have a couple of decent transformations. I think one was thanks to brother PJ and his supply of orals and another was when some PT (adam?) pretty much watched him around the clock and risked his marriage to get Genova in shape. He went from shizzo fat to visible abs.

The early ments with Genova and the misfits were good times on forums. It generated huge volumes of traffic almost everywhere but here.

His sense of entitlement was actually one of the reasons people found him hilarious. He had his apartment and everything paid for by his grandmother and worked a few hours a week bagging groceries, yet constantly complained about his hardships.

Always begging for money, freebies, meals etc and never thanking people when they obliged. As I said he was a living parody, only this time a typical spoilt millennial.

How much was Genova getting paid? I figured it was maybe a couple of grand, plus supplements. If it was something like that, I think it was a good deal. Come for the jester, stay for the sales pitch.

I kind of get it but after 3 minutes I don’t find any of their nonsense amusing. All of those misfits were guys I’d avoid talking to in the gym (or real life) at all costs. It seems there is always a group of those type of weirdos at  most gyms in the US. They can be time suckers at/in the gym.

I'd avoid Genova like a leper if I saw him in person but at home when I'm just messing around on YouTube, he's usually worth a laugh or two

You kinda sum up why it worked so well. There were a couple of "normal" guys who did most of the camera work, interacting with all the weirdos that most of us wouldn't be able to stomach for more than 5 minutes.

It was like a fly on the wall documentary and you got to find out what made these weirdos tick. You're left wondering how it's possible people can function like that, and each week you find out it's actually worse than you imagined.

It's worth remembering the early days it was all pretty innocent, no clout chasing, no ad revenues, no money making going on.

When people like PJ tried to attach themselves to Genova everyone wanted to end in tears (although people did eventually warm to PJ). Same with all the other clout chasers who tried to use Genova for fame, they all left regretting it and were trolled to death. There was so much more going on than just the videos though. The piss troopers trolling youtube sell outs like kali muscle and Rich Piana is another example. It was using social media as a way of being anti social media and against what it represented at the time.

Him emailing my assistant one month, and this was literally his entire email, is when I told PJ to fire him: "Where the hell are are my supplements?"
And then PJ got all upset with me and said "I am not firing you fire him!" and I said "I am not firing him because I didn't hire him, nor did ever want him".

I always thought PJ hired him but i suppose he was apprehensive about it because he might have called an Order 66 on him if he did

PJ had some weird fatherly like bond/relationship with him, I never understood it cause I always thought Genova was a POS, and in the end I guess I was right.

If PJ had fired him early on he would have had over a 100 plus pisstroopers (trolls) making life a constant misery for him and BSL online.

Those trolls were relentless and made many big name social media bodybuilding personalities issue apology/truce videos for negative things they had said about Genova
