Rifles of all kinds are responisble for a small amount of deaths per year. 600 or so give or take. 350 or so of those are homicides.

Violent crime of all kinds (including firearms which means handguns) was on a steady decline for 3 decades or so before beginning a rise in 2014. The rates are now pretty elevated in comparison with numbers from just 10 years ago.

Last few years we've had a Pro-Criminal DoJ and State AG take on crime. Plenty of awful bail reforms and "Criminal Justice Reforms" have taken hold. This is the outcome. The State wants the war at your doorstep.

If the government banned cars or alcohol there would be less injuries and deaths but....the impact to our economy and society would astronomical.

If the government banned guns the impact would be minimal. The biggest complaint I've seen is that people's "rights would be taken away."

So you believe people should be treated differently based on IQ scores or general intelligence? The government knows better because they’re smarter?

The second part about banning cars/alcohol being impactful to the economy doesn’t matter because your country shut down due to the unvaccinated truckers,remember the whole violent protest?

What rights should be mandatory? Or should there be rights based on class, income or race?

Should we also consider a ban on violent movies and video games? There is undoubtedly a desensitized generation that’s growing up that is comfortable with extreme violence.

I know it sounds as simple as ban guns but a knee killed George Floyd, so it would seem there are much bigger issues than guns.
