The girlfriend tried to get the deli man to let her go with a discount on some snacks, he told her nope, and then the boyfriend came back later and walked behind the counter to punk him for dissing the girl. NYC is probably saying that he took it too far with the degree of stabbing the counterman did.

NYC does that all the time, even many times in cases of self defense. They charge high, then let the lawyer and DA whittle it down to a much lesser crime if the community doesn't get too upset, and demand that the charges be dropped. It sucks for normal people.

The paper — citing the criminal complaint — added that Simon’s girlfriend grabbed a knife from her purse and stabbed Alba in the arm.

Video shows Alba checking out what appears to be stab wound on his bloody left arm.

Looks like the guy's girlfriend took out her own knife and stabbed him but she wasn't charged. Seems bogus to arrest the worker and not the woman.

2. This is even more proof that elections are rigged by the DA's that are installed that allow this to happen. They want law abiding citizens to NOT be able to defend themselves and give benefit to the criminals. Solution, approve CCL's to law abiding citizens. Not all citizens and business owners are as lucky as this store owner.   

3. The good news is the good guy is alive and the bad guy is dead.

4. If you're a law abiding citizen, arm yourself. If you don't know how too shoot a gun, buy one, get training, learn the laws, get your CCL (or not because you still have the Second Amendment but still get it).
