I think people like Luscious, NiceRag, thisiskeith (which by the way you are embarrassing the name) idolize Bob and Shawn and others because they really don't have anyone else and they love BB and they come across as great to them and people who can do no wrong. I don't mean to put Bob in the same category as Shawn though. Shawn may have acheived more in BB than Bob, but as a man and a person of honor Bob is far and above Shawn in that category. I for one don't need to idolize anyone. I have done what I have done and I don't need a crutch to use as support and encouragement to feel better about myself. I have my heroes who I look up to but am not infactuated with them like these people are. The people who throw themselves and idolize them (BB's) in way that is unsupported because they have never met the person or done business with the person and go on strictly what they read or hear is wrong especially in bodybuilding where being fake is common.
I like everything about Bob except his support of the IFBB and lack of true representation to the Pros. No matter how you look at it, Bob is not a rep. He is a liaison between the Pros and the IFBB. He is being used by the IFBB and Manion and doesn't seem to either realize it or care. His achievements as the rep (so to speak) are miniscule compared to what should be done. The IFBB gives him just enough "rope" to keep him happy and the pros quiet. As much as it appears Chic is loved and respected by his peers is an overstatement. How many IFBB Pros were attending the ASC this year. At least a 100 I would think. I mean at the expo, competing or just there to watch. I heard there were 4 people at the meeting. I'm really sorry but that shows me the majority of the Pros do not respect or consider Chic their "rep". Sure they might call him say hi to him when they see each other and smile, but when it came down to actually supporting their so-called friend NOTHING HAPPENED. By the way was Shawn Ray at the meeting. It is not Bob's fault. He is trying but it is like beating a dead horse. You can only kill it so much. I truly wish Chic would just say bye-bye to the so-called rep position and concentrate in Hollywood. If he got down in size and became more mainstream looking he could do pretty well. Staying big limits parts and doens't allow him to expand his marketability in Hollywood.
So now I expect NiceRag and the others to rag me and say meltdown and whatever, but the fact is you guy need to get your heads out of your asses. By the way it's impossible for you guys to get to me cause I could care less what a few internet geeks say about me. I truly laugh and smile so hard when I read your posts. I picture people who have done nothing in their lives ragging on people who have done so much for so many. People who have actually been in a gym and really trained unlike people like you who just sit back in their chair and type. But keep trying cause it really is fun to read your posts.
