Santa Monica pier is nice for a stroll.

Was there in the summer.

Tons to do.

Getty Museum and J. Paul Getty's home if you like art.

Hollywood Blvd attractions.  Walk around yourself.  See the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Walk on Venice Boardwalk to Santa Monica Pier (couple miles)

Pacific Coast Highway drive your car up to Malibu.  Very scenic.

Mulholland Drive (by car).  Stop off at overlooks.

Drive around Beverly Hills. 

Celebrity homes bus tours.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery where many famous people buried.

Studio Tours (Paramount, Warner Bros., Sony, etc.)

Santa Monica Pier

Is Beverly Hills good? The Rodeo drive bit. My wife wants to go to the big Pottery Barn store there. Probably no interest in anything else there, would stay and hang around the nice bit so we don’t get shot.

I just visited so I’m sure resident can give a better perspective.

However, it’s just like what you see on tv/Instagram regarding Beverly Hills.

Cars, washed up dudes trying to impress chicks, wanna be actors/actress.

Legit saw a rug store appointment only. Not open to the public massive store front but closed as its appointment only.

Was right across a trendy coffee shop.

Nice. I was surprised how cheap it was to stay there a month. It’s 20k or so at a decent place.

Disneyland might be pretty cool to take my daughter to see. The VIP tour sounds pretty good, I’d have 4 people and cost 4K or so but I want to understand more about lining up for rides. If it’s a 5min wait no problem but if it’s still 15mins I don’t have time for that shit.

Lots of movies filmed there and around.  If you have any favorites, might want to look up the area.  Halloween was filmed in Pasadena (as was some of Good Burger):
