Can honestly say I don’t remember being happy a day in my life.

To me happiness has always been a fleeting thing.....this probably has a lot to do with my depression and anxiety disorders.

Statistically consistently a bit of a trough in terms of life satisfaction, a vague notion of "unmet expectations"  seems to be a common underlying theme in studies no matter one's external success, life situation, or otherwise

Just part of the normal life cycle it seems

Good news is things skew to a trend upwards from 55 or so until mid 70s

Been pretty detached since I was around 9 years old, I dont form deep relationships with people, they come and go in my life and I dont really notice.
Had depression after surgery 3 years ago, been on anti-depressants since.
They do zone me out a bit but the silence can be deafening.

I was 20 when I registered to getbig almost 17 years ago. I was living with my parents, going to night school to finish high school. I didn't have friends because all the people at the school where 40-60 year olds. I was happy back then. Lifting and playing guitar was on only thing that made sense.

Fast forward to this day. I've got plenty of friends, great spouse, great career. Still lifting and playing music and check getbig every day. Absolutely content with my life. DVDs?
