Absolutely not. Met him important and was shocked how short he was. Very wide shoulders though.

We already had that, back in the day (sort of), with the under and over 200-lb classes. Most dudes over 200 lbs were also at least six feet tall.

Counting Choopan, there are at least 4 guys who are 5'6 or shorter who have Sandows (Jackson, Dickerson, Columbu)

The weirdest thing is that 5'3" Mohammed Makkaway beat BOTH Samir Bannout and Lee Haney at the Olympia but never became Mr. Olympia himself.

Glad Big Dummy is no longer Mr. O. He was a horrible representative of the sport. He may have had some recognition over in the middle east but did nothing to promote the sport.

As someone else pointed out he peaked at that NY pro show back in 2013 or 14....whenever that was. He was just big and in good enough condition that all he had to do was outlast everyone else. Phil aged, Rhoden raped (allegedly) then died. And Brandon really needs an asterisk next to his name. He won in a year with no phil, no rhoden and no ramy.

Aside from his body man ramy looked dumb as fuck. Looked like a Neanderthal. This, I think, is the biggest fall for a defeding Mr. O. Samir went from 1st to 4th I think a few went from 1st to 3rd. But ramy dropped to 5.

Glad he blew off that Pittsburgh deal. Judges did him no favors and scored him appropriately.
