If people don't mind walking across their home with shoes which have been next to a urinal and public toilets covered in piss and bringing all that in your bedroom and lounge, then good for them.
Thais consider wearing shoes indoors as barbaric and uncivilised.
Combined with the non-showering habits of many farang it doesn't help this perception.
That's filthy, but to each their own.
Must I say this..
Are you serious with that shit?
For starters.. who gives a fuck what some insect-eating 3rd worlders think is good hygiene.
Secondly, here in my 1st world country, the restrooms (which I use perhaps thrice a year) are as clean as your kitchen. If
you step on piss then
you are disgusting and filthy. Not me. I don't step on piss. Also, if I did step on miscroscopic piss particles at some public restroom (whooptiefuckingdoo), then I'm pretty sure that
shit will be completely removed from my shoes by the time I step into
the dojo my house. We also have door mats here to wipe our shoes on, car floor mats, nice clean concrete sidewalks/footpaths, mats at malls...
And again.. we
step on the floor. That's it. We don't fucking lick it. Do you have a foot fetish or something?
You and the Thais you know are waaaay overreacting, tripping and brainwashed.
I'm not dirty/filthy. You're just a sick germaphobe. HTH
