That was brutal, I remember doing that at one of my buddies house when I was 20-21,2 story house and I was cocked. Jumped off the roof and hit the deepend feet first straight shot and I hit the bottom of the pool so hard it rattled my brain. Lot better than that though.

I remember when I was a kid at a local pool there were several jumping posts on a rig ,like 2,5,8,10 and off course the "tower" which was way above and only for the bravest kids. One guy like 18 yo took a running jump off the tower and everyone was amazed. He landed like a meter out of the pool and died.

A guy that lived not so far from me came home one night from partying and decided to jump head first into a small pool that was there for the kids. He was paralyzed from the neck down

I knew it was gonna be this video, saw it a few years ago.
Did he live, brain damage, what...?
I'd be amazed if he fully recovered, why try using the edge of the roof like a spring board!

When I was 17 and over at a friends house, who had an inground pool, he and another guy were jumping off the roof into the pool.

They made it every time.

No way was I doing it.

Holy shit.

I jumped off the highest tower at the pool at my gym after a deadlifts workout with a friend of mine who was pressuring me to go right away, while I insisted on 10 minutes of recovery time.

I feel if I got the jump even remotely wrong, I could have been pretty badly injured.

I smacked my leg pretty good, even though my landing was only slightly off.

Is this guy a fucking idiot?

Wouldn't the safest way - after ensuring the potential to trip and fall is limited - to be to sort of do a leap after one or two steps?

Nice pic of you and your friend holding hands and jumping off together. Just a shame it's so pixilated.

LOL!!!

I think his thought process was:
If he dies...he didn't want to die alone.

And if I die, his thought process was:
"If he dies, he dies."

 ;D ;D :D

PS - I've been watching the UK version of "Dragon's Den" lately. I almost never watch mainstream TV, but I forgot how good this show was.
