Numerous debates on the news about white nationalism/white supremacy, numerous mentioning of his race and how it’s rising and a threat to society
Like I said if the shooter was black or Hispanic, they wouldn’t focus all their efforts on the race only
I looked but I couldn't find any stories about the Vegas shooter being tied to white nationalism or white supremacy or being motivated by those things
I did find quite a few stories about him being fixated on what one article called the "three pillars of right-wing extremism: anti-government conspiracy theories, threats to Second Amendment rights, and overly burdensome taxes". Apparently he also wanted to stage some big event to wake people up to these perceived threats but I didn't find any stories about him being motivated by white nationalism or white supremacy.
Whenever one of these mass shooting events happen the media (along with society in general) tries to understand the motivation of the shooters.
This inevitably leads to looking at their social media posts (if any) and there are often legitimate cases where the shooter is motivated by white nationalism, racism, etc.. but I'm not seeing it in this case
