I wish some reporter, any reporter on the border would ask them "Why do you think this country, the United States, HAS TO take you in?
Seriously, I would love to know the mindset of all these people! Do they just think "because I want to" and that's it?
Yes, some (what percentage?) are fleeing for their lives for various reasons (gangs, criminal activity, etc) and are actually viable asylum candidates.
However, coming to this country just for a better job, or any job or whatever other similar reasons is NOT a right!....
hundreds of thousands even millions of these people can't find ANY work in their own country, or the neighboring countries? They HAVE TO come to the U.S. to do so? REALLY?...
Yes, I feel bad for some of these people because their own countries don't give a shit about them. Mexico is like "keep moving, as long as you don't stay here, keep coming, keep moving up north!"....
Anyway, seriously, would like to know the mindset of the vast majority of these people who seemingly act like we HAVE to take them in because they WANT TO come here, so there!...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexican%E2%80%93American_WarLet me summarize things for you. Mexico refused to accept the Treaty that Annexed The Republic Of Texas because the person who signed it was imprisoned at the time by the United States. They went to war, we beat the shit out of them and we kept their land and gave them fuck all.
Time does not change historical facts but I find it ridiculous that nothing is ever said about immigrants coming from Canada, The UK, and other countries yet we have a problem with Mexican deciding to cross the border onto land that was stolen from them to begin with???
My solution is just to vet them for criminal activities and make them pay a higher percentage of taxes for a period of time. Most of the US is unoccupied so there is plenty of land and there are plenty of towns in decay that could use them to build things back up .
