"White Nights" Tournament in Leningrad ( 1987 ).
( Leningrad = Saint-Petersburg )

EDIT : The tournament was called "White nights" because the city is near the arctic circle . From late May to early June, the sun does not go under the horizon deep enough for the sky to get dark. It remains in permanent twilight.

I agree,to me they look great......like actual bodybuilders.

Russians call it "Metan" ( for methandrostenolone, obviously )

Back in the day, you could get your goodies at the pharmacy.

If I remember correctly, they had...

- Deca ( Retabolil - 50mg/ml)
- Npp ( Nerobolil - 25mg/ml )
- Dbol ( Akrihin - Russian / Nerobol - Hungarian )
- Test E
- Test P
- Test E + P ( at a ratio of 8:2 ) called Testenat ( 50mg/ml )
- Sust ( Omandren 250 & Sustanon 250 )

Dbol was affordable ( 2,2 rubles for 100 tablets of 5mg ). The average salaray in the 70s-80s was ~ 140 rubles per month ( $150).
