Good stuff. Matt has now stopped his bench challenge at 350 and is focusing on reps. If you can get 351lbs by year end you can take the #2 spot and stop the Canning Train. Make your challenge goal plus 1lb and take your glory.
I think you got me down for 330 lbs. After 18 months down with the shoulder injury (and no benching), I don't think I want to try to get back there.
(I tore it with 355, but hey, the rep was successful)
I dont want to chase Matts numbers, he's stronger than I am. (I like the whole "Me vs. Me" thing though, always have. Never chased others).
(Unstable/frozen shoulder). But I think if I just add a 10 per side and go for 335, I'll be OK with that.
At this age (57) and this weight (198) I'm OK with my numbers... I might focus on getting the 500 on DL and SQ again.
(Just started back (for real) with those lifts).
While I do love strength and pushing myself, ive become fond lately of training injury-free. Its kind of nice...
If Im feeling it on THU I will record my 335 attempt... (Wearing a BHanks mask of course)...
