Wes, or anyone really, im 45 and getting back on after about a year and a half off (shoulder injury) and im having a tough time for some reason. Case in point, last night was doing.back and when i got to pullovers i was stuck at 80lbs i think i got 6. Before layoff i hit 130lbs for 6. Its not so much the drop in weight thats bothering me, its a lack of drive. After rep 4 i felt physically exhausted
I forced myself to do 6 and that was it
My back was not really struggling. I was not coming close to failure in my lats or anything. Just getting the weight into position wasnt heavy at all, but exhausting
Does that make sense? Is this because im out of shape or age related? Today i was doing some side jobs and after a couple hours on my feet same thing happened. My body just called quits on me. Im not sure whats going.on.or what to do about it. Anyone else experience this? And any ideas how to fix it?
