The settlements are for people who had nothing to do with the protests or riots you idiot. People who were just walking down the sidewalk were being snatched up from the streets. You can't just indiscriminately arrest people for being at the wrong place at the wrong time
God damn, you are so fucking stupid. No. They weren't just walking down the street doing nothing. Thats just what their shylock attorneys have claimed in order to get a payout. It's an easy claim to make when the prosecutors were dismissing charges for these assholes left and right. So they can say 'look, the DA even dropped the charges! That proves I didn't do anything wrong!' And as long as people as dimb as you exist to buy into this shit it will continue to happen.
Of course it didn't hurt that the DA's of every major lib city that had protests were financially backed by Soros.

The cops on NY were so overwhelmed by the nightly fucking protests they couldn't handle all the protestors as it was let alone the time to just willy nilly arrest bystanders for no reason just walking down the street.
Cops can't arrest you for walking down the street. They have to have probable cause of a crime. Then write a report establishing that a crime occurred and the person arrested committed it. Do you expect me to believe that all these cops lied? Just completely fabricated their reports. And ignore all the video of these assholes that we saw in 2020 of them burning buildings, assaulting cops, destroying public and private property?
This shouldn't need to be explained to you. It all happened and was reported on nightly. The protestors charges were dropped by Soros backed DA's and the damage continues with bullshit settlements like this.
