In the early 80's I've seen so many friends throw away the pursuit of a career chasing the syringe life style. I wonder about some of them if they landed on their feet? Seemed the popular job back then was bouncer at night so they could be in the gym prior to their job.  I know one became an attorney after getting terrible grades in college when he was competing. Lost track of him and I still don't know how he did it. He's a low level attorney doing wills, closings and local court but at least he has a career.

No muscle recovers from nerve atrophy it seems. But yeah he was topped out and younger guys are blowing past him now.
