I read the book on Brody, very interesting guy... Loved to lift weights.
Had  a nice little garage gym, York benches and weights.
There's a vid out there somewhere w/ him training in his garage...

I see WSM competitor Jerry Blackwell in those vids... Patera says Blackwell was legit when it came to strength...

Loved watching Crusher Jerry Blackwell in the AWA along with King Kong Brody. Brody wouldn't use the name "Bruiser" when in the AWA out of respect for Dick The Bruiser. When King Kong Bundy wrestled in the AWA he went by Boom Boom Bundy.

Any time Bruiser Brody was booked to fight anywhere it almost always sold out, even independent shows. Some of the most brutal matches with Abdullah the Butcher are on Youtube.
