Getbig's "Ignore User" Feature: How To Use It.

Personally, I don't want anyone reading my posts if they don't want to. Also - even some people who DO like reading my posts don't want to read SO much, sometimes.

So here is how to use the "Ignore User" Feature on here, with an attached photo showing how to use it. Add me if you don't want to read my posts - but don't complain if you choose to keep me off it. I think that's fair.

[1] Profile -> Modify Profile -> Buddies/Ignore List -> Edit Ignore List.

[2] Unfortunately the feature has a limitation: if somebody QUOTES you...the post shows up. So as a personal favour, I would ask people to ONLY quote the portion of my post you are specifically addressing, for the benefit of those seeking to ignore my posts.

It's too bad the feature has that limitation, but...it is what it is. So don't quote my posts, and that way any member who wants to ignore me can do so.

LOL...I have B. Hank, joswift, and wes on my buddies list, but I don't know when I added them. That's cool though.

As you can see, I only have ONE member on my Ignore List. I don't mind personal attacks, but from now on, any time I see Walter Sobchak mention my family in posts, I'm going to straight to the "Report to Moderator" button. Family posts are absolutely out of line, and just denote the actions of a complete piece of shit. Attack me as MUCH AS YOU WANT...but leave my family out of it. This is a policy we should ALL be following. It's actually Ron's/board policy, and I agree with it 100%.

I've been here actively posting since August of 2003, and reading since around January of 2002.

I can't seem to recall that feature though.

I think Ron created the board - or at least the website - in 1998.

Haven’t left. Probably post 2-3x a day. Im going to guess off the top of my head GB had the live chat quite a few years back, 8, 10 years? Needs to come back, especially for the poli board.

And don't quote me! If you quote someone, the person ignoring the quoted person will see the quoted post. 

Personally, I am a fan of everyone on the board aside for Walter Sobchak. Firstly, because of his lies [He "warms up with my workout", LOL, yeah, him and Eddie Hall. ], and trashing my family is not OK. It takes a real piece of shit to attack someone's family.

Otherwise, there is nobody here I wouldn't to want to read, and I feel this Ignore feature is the ideal solution for those who don't want to read my posts...or anyone else's.
