Yes the old cameras and the old ways of listening to music was light years ahead of the tech today.  Streaming music sounds like hell even put through quality speakers if you can find them. The old cameras are so much better than the absolute junk they sell for pictures and videos today.

One difference between photos taken with digital cameras and the cameras that used film is that in digital photo the little dots that make up the photo are in ranks and rows...They are all lined up.  The photos from film, the little particles that make up the picture are Randomly distributed across the picture.

Decades ago the bodybuilders were vastly superior versus the horrendously overdosed bloated cadavers that we have seen for well over 30 years now.  And for the record, black and white film is also vastly superior to color and digital for physique photography.

I haven't been playing with it because I am trying to get out of debt.  I have taken photos that have around 15 times the resolution of a 35mm picture

Edit: This camera is what you use when you want a photo 20x24 inches that is sharp...

In both photography and video, film has a certain look to it which can't really be replicated with digital.

Don't agree with that. I am not an audiophile but can appreciate decent music. Amazon streams at up to 192khz/24 bit. Humans can't even hear that well to appreciate it. CD audio was released at 44KHZ / 16 bit. I doubt most people will know the difference between an 96khz/24 bit and a 192khz/24 bit music sample, all else being equal. Perhaps you think it is too clinical and clean? Is that your gripe? Some modern soundtracks add noise in to mimic the older music pieces.

Most speakers are not bad either. You can get very decent sound for even under $250 with two speakers and a subwoofer. I have a variety of sound systems ranging from $100 all the way up to $1,500 and they all sound great to me. I do like music with a subwoofer though.

It's lighting and the photographer. Film camera photographers knew how to stage a shot and were aware of their surroundings. Digital photographers just aim and shoot lol! Well, not all of them.

There is technically no reason why digital photos can't be every bit as good or even better than film photos.

Here's an artistic photo generated by AI, No film involved.

B&W makes them look more historical. You can take a color photo and make it B&W in Photoshop / Gimp. Does wonders lol!

I think it’s the syringes. Old syringes worked best. Put the oil deeper in the muscle so you didn’t look like Lunsford with oil everywhere.

cameras are so clear now, in 30 years, you wont be able to tell the difference from a video from 2023 to 2053 video

whereas you can tell the difference from 80-90s-20s-2020s etc

thats gonna mind F people
