Good question, Randomum. This just happened, and I'm trying to look for any official statement so far, that goes into more depth about it.

If I had to guess - YouTube is targeting content on steroids. I wonder if Derek from More Plates More Dates will be next.

Hopefully some other YouTubers will weigh in on it. Maybe Dave Palumbo will do a video on it as well. As Dave / RxMuscle could easily be targeted as well.

No great loss. His power cast was good but the power project was rarely worth watching- aside from the Tommy Wishbone appearances.

I estimate Mike Israetel talks about homosexuality in about 90 percent of his videos, and it’s not funny.

To be honest, most of the bodybuilding industry is that way.

I was watching an RxMuscle video recently, and it started with an ad featuring massive, jacked bodybuilders, in contest shape. I was thinking: "This is just like the old MuscleTech ads - but in video form." A few seconds later, I realized it actually was a MuscleTech ad. So they're still doing it. Like Vince Goodrum said before, their ads border on fraud.

I'm just thinking about this in terms of YouTube policy - every now and then, I think about going back to YouTube myself. But I'm not clear on what is or is not allowed. I feel this incident just adds another layer of confusion.

For me, it's that this is the type of thing that has immobilized me lately. I'm always looking for 100% guarantees in everything, and I can't stand when vague policies can just snuff any of us out at any time.

And IMO, that sort of is the point - they want us all living under a system where we either aren't aware of what the line to cross is, or there is no line at all. And then we're all worried about crossing that line, which may not even exist anyway.

Yeah, I'm sure I'm thinking too much into this.  But I have been dragging my feet on starting a True Crime YouTube channel...and stuff like this incident is why.

I hate the myth that Bell invented the Slingshot. He only invented it because he patented it. The history of those things is more like this - Bench shirts were expensive $150-300, hard to get into, and prone to ripping. So guys would take old ones and cut them down to get more use out of them. Guys like Chris Taylor cleaned up the design with his "Bench Strap", but he never gave them much though, it was just something he'd do for friends -

This is one of those "it depends" type things. There's a gray area where your videos are held while they figure out if the want to keep you banned. Sometimes bigger banned channels have been able to get them to give back videos, but usually not.

I'm not sure if it still works, but you used to be able to download the videos from the google data portion of your total google account even if they deleted you -

There was a Youtube button hidden in the data options that would send you a zip file of some of your uploaded videos. It was a decent sized file, but for a huge channel, I'm not sure it would have all of it.
