St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer Matthew Wieczorek noted in the probable cause statement that based on the serious nature of the charges, he believed Henderson to be a danger to the community and unlikely to appear voluntarily on a summons.
But Judge Annette Llewellyn did not consider Henderson, who has no prior felony charges, as a flight risk or a threat to society. On Feb. 15 Llewellyn set bond at $200,000, with a requirement of posting 10%. Henderson on Friday, Feb. 16, posted the required amount — $20,000 — and is no longer jailed. His next court date has not been set.
