if u get surgery tho, that is long road back you will be 47?then trying for pro card maybe...
The way I see it I would be lucky to be back competing at Nationals next summer in 2025 at 47 basically in the back of the pack checking it out. I would be competitive for the win in 2026 and 2027. If I hadn't done it by then I would be the favorite to win in 2028 in the 50 plus class.
If I can get the win at Nationals I would then return to the Charlotte Cup as a Pro where I would be almost 50 and mid pack in the over 40 at best. But competing in a Pro Show on the same stage I got my first win in front of my family.
Of course there are no guarantees in life that is the Hollywood ideal version if everything goes right.
You guys made fun of me for being in the over 40 Classic class there is nothing wrong with that class or the Show. The only issue is I was in the amateur class not the real Pro class. They had like a dozen guys in the over 40 classic Pro class at the show tons of competition to keep me busy for life. Just need to win that IFBB card first.
However if it all goes wrong because I get so jacked I can't make weight I am also ok with that.
Joe talked about his win and his trophies but his real prize was beign physically fit at 62. There is no downside to training.
