Read the bill pearl account, arnold had him near to tears with just words! Arnold went in with his full competitive arsenal and destroyed everyone,  phsycologically and physically he beat them all.
Doesn't matter what percentage of his previous shape he was in, he was against the others,  not himself and no one had enough to beat him.
