A.I. seems to be turning up more and more in the narrating of videos on YouBoob. I mispronounces too many things not to be A.I.
Or someone dumber than me.
That's because that's not the AI narrating but someone dubbing their own voices or using text to speech to produce the speech. If they were smart they would type up their narration and go to ChatGPT, paste the contents and type: Improve Grammar. The bad narration is because the person behind it is lacking the skills. Not the AI. The AI is only as good as what it has been provided with.
What surprised a lot of people is how fast AI mastered language. ChatGPT as a great example. I've used ChatGPT to make my emails more concise and to the point. It can help whittle it down to the basics and remove redundant phrases. I sent one of my sisters a ChatGPT birthday wish, complete with a screenshot of the web interface. She told me that was the first ChatGPT birthday wish she received.
ChatGPT is also great for translation. But Google Translate is also not bad at all.
Here's an interesting discussion between Brian Greene and Yoshua Bengio who's seen as one of the "Grandfathers of AI". I have a family member who's a computer scientist and is sceptical on whether recent AI is in fact real Artificial Intelligence. Or just complicated code and hardware that can come up with random solutions based on the training models they are provided with.
