Biden will be replaced.  I'm pretty sure of it.  Should have bet Newsom at +2800 when I thought of it a few months ago.

Biden looked worse than I expected.  He did seem to get a little better as it went on, but the first 30 minutes were an abject disaster, not only when he was speaking, but his demeanor when Trump was.

However, still amazed at how poorly Trump can't defend the obvious lies.

Cases in point:

When Biden said Trump said to inject bleach, Trump ignored it.  He could have just said "I never said to inject bleach.  I was talking about the possibility of exploring how disinfectants that killed covid outside of the body could be modified for use inside the body".

The very fine people lie (which i still can't believe Biden is using).  Trump just said it was debunked.  He should have said "Jake pull up the quote. I was specifically referring to the statue debate, and then I explicitly condemned the nazis and white supremicists.  Joe has been lying to the American public for 8 years about this"

When Biden said Iran attacked the US and gave concussions to the servicemen.  Trump could have said "Joe, that was a superficial move for Iran to save face to the world after we killed one of their terrorist generals.  They even told us it was coming."

Stuff like that.

But he remained relatively calm, and given Biden, that may have been enough.
