The balance doesn't go away if you don't spend it - it just accumulates (If that 's a legitimate receipt).

I’m not sure it’s a legitimate receipt. Idk that I’ve ever seen an EBT balance printed out before- but different states have different practices.

And as a counterpoint, let’s say it is legit. What is the monthly allocation of funds, and why is the balance allowed to grow so large? This should be used monthly and there is always a recalculation of the monthly stipend.
When my mother passed (on a Saturday) that Tuesday her social security deposit from Friday was pulled from her bank account. She wasn’t even dead a full 72 hours before  the government took her money back.  If this were real those numbers shouldn’t be allowed for anyone, let alone a non citizen.
