Elon Musk/Trump conversation on X
« on: August 12, 2024, 08:02:24 PM »
I listened to it from the beginning and the numbers were off the chart not just on X but all of the platforms that aired it. The left is absolutely coming UNGLUED and in total meltdown mode….pure gold

There have been reporters asking the White House if they would censor, the WH has issued a press release, EU group threatening a lawsuit, and DDoS attack.

The reality is, regardless of how Trump even does, Kamala Harris could never have an unscripted conversation for hours like this.

It's not even up for debate.

How anyone could vote for her and think she will hold her own vs Putin, Xi, Un, etc is beyond me.

I said the same thing on X today. 1. She wouldn’t be respected in any way, shape or form so they’re not going to take her seriously. 2. She isn’t intelligent or knowledgeable enough to negotiate with the likes of Putin, Xi, Kim Jung Un or really any leader of a country with the exception of maybe Trudeau because they have the same taste in women’s shoes

I saw something on X where the left was encouraging people to boycott.  They cannot stand to even listen to opposing viewpoints.

Trump's interview with Elon Musk was an unmitigated disaster

But the online interview went off (the rails) with a multitude of hitches. X users erupted with either frustration or laughter as the planned start time passed, and nothing could be accessed. It took more than 40 minutes before the interview could start and be heard by anyone. It was amateur hour, the last thing a campaign struggling to project competence needed.

In May 2023, when DeSantis' presidential campaign premiered with a glitch-tastic interview with Musk on what was then called Twitter, Trump mocked the debacle, writing on social media: “Wow! The DeSanctus TWITTER launch is a DISASTER! His whole campaign will be a disaster. WATCH!”

On behalf of DeSantis, allow me to say this: HAH!

Of course, things didn’t get better for Trump once the interview was able to proceed.

Trump says AI did it: Trump blames Harris' crowds on AI, so let's all assume everything we don't like is fake!

He was rambling, babbling on about crowd sizes and immigration and President Joe Biden and whatever else seemed to pass through his mind. He was also badly slurring his words, raising questions about his health, and doing nothing to knock down rising concerns about his age and well-being.

He sounded like a disoriented, racist Daffy Duck.

Musk, meanwhile, has the interviewing skills of a stoned introvert. He did little but cheerlead Trump and agree with every bizarro thing that fell out of his mouth, while occasionally going on the kind of odd right-wing tangents you’d expect from a man too rich to ever be told to pipe down.

I’m not going to quote anything Trump said in the interview because it was either too stupid to merit transcription or a mere repetition of the nonsense he spouts at every rally he holds.

It won’t happen. They were having a conversation on nuclear warming when talking about “global warming” of all things. Something I’ve never heard someone even talk about. What do you think her response would have been to something like that?

Of course it won't happen.

She will do one interview, and it will with someone like Morning Joe who will not challenge her, and she'll have the questions in advance.

She's more likely to get on her knees a give him a blow job than sit & answer any unscripted
Questions . She is Fucking useless if she wasn't & was confident she would be chomping at
The bit to have that 2hrs with Elon.

BRUSSELS — The European Union's top digital enforcer tried to take on Elon Musk. Within hours, he faced accusations of meddling in American politics and his own staff were back-pedalling hard.

Thierry Breton, who oversees the bloc's enforcement of new social media rules, sent Musk a letter posted on X that warned the tech mogul about spreading "harmful content," ahead of Musk's livestreamed interview with Donald Trump.

The tech billionaire quickly clapped back. “To be honest, I really wanted to respond with this Tropic Thunder meme,” Musk wrote to his almost 200 million followers on X, while posting a curse-laden photo from the 2008 Hollywood blockbuster. “But I would NEVER do something so rude & irresponsible!”

Did not watch it. Not coming UNGLUED. Not in a total meltdown. Why should I be when over a million folks saw Trump unglued, and melting down. He is melting, melting, just like the Wicked Witch of the West.

That was not the purpose, which was to log off X at 8:OO pm when the interview was supposed to start, but did not which would supposedly impact X's numbers. I think the right should keep on playing these numbers games because it is a distraction from other more important issues. The only numbers game that counts is the one on November 5, 2024. The rest are all nonsense and stupid noise.

LOL! What you describe is a disaster for those two and for those who think it was anything more than that. Folks are a lot wiser than Trump and cohorts give them credit for being. But there will be some with the wool firmly pulled over their eyes up until the last minute and long after.
