Nothing was amiss either. They had an option to replace their candidate with established rules for doing so. They did that within those rules and timeline.

Whether they had decided Biden was the nominee long before isn't the issue, there were rules in place that allowed them to change their party's candidate before an established deadline. Which occurred before any delegate cast any vote. These rules were followed.
