The entire question is bad because having a baby has a massive economic impact to the parent. So, to say someone wanting to make that choice doesn't care about economics is simply false. Most women are making that choice because of economics. Additionally, most men concerned with economics would also be concerned with abortion as yet again the economics of child care effect both parents.  How the fuck you people thinking not wanting a baby at 17 goes for both potential parents is beyond me. And for fuck sake if you are older and you don't want to support these unplanned bills yet again abortion is an economic choice.

I wouldn't have phrased it this way, but I do think that the Republicans have made a massive error on abortion. They were much more successful when they talked about abortion but didn't actually do anything to prevent it. It kept the religious right in their corner and didn't agitate the women so much.
