100%.
This is why I find it impossible that consuming the anmimal in this way would be detrimental to health. Has to be the refined and processed stuff causing problems.
I haven't seen anyone saying it was harmful or causing problems?
The stuff has to be "refined" or the gastric system can't break it down, this was what the internet told me a few weeks back

I don't think either is harmful, maybe if some animal disease like mad cow disease was passed down

I've seen some say the hydrolyzed collagen absorbs poorly but that's not what 'incomplete protein' means. I haven't looked but my guess is that it's easy and fast to digest and absorb. But it's 50% the inessential amino glycine and very low on essential aminos and also with no tryptofan which is necesssary to a diet and even if there was some it has to be a certain amount, otherwise it becomes rate limiting for protein synthesis. Phil Hernon. claimed he ate almost exclusively collagen to win his pro card. What shit.
It's interesting I think how they come up with the "value" of protein and perfect dietary aminos needed. There's several different proteon value rating systems. Some intl bodies like WHO actually has optimal amounts needed per day per pound of all the individual 20 something aminos. Some say eggs are the top protein but what I read says it's pretty allergenic to many people. In some others I think whey comes out on top if it's counted as a food. Everything says whey is almost optimal for everything, all the research, but I think most here feel whey shakes made no difference for them, must be because they are getting enough anyway. All the research says more is better basically for muscle gain but that's not what getbiggers think, all they get is farts.
