Deepak Chopra has denied any wrongdoing after the Justice Department released hundreds of emails sent over several years between the integrative medicine doctor and Jeffrey Epstein as part of its review of millions of files tied to the late convicted sex offender.

The correspondences between Chopra and Epstein or their respective employees span from 2016 to 2019. In part, the emails include mention of Epstein's "girls," invitations to Chopra's speaking events and discussions of Chopra staying overnight at Epstein's home.

Chopra said in a Feb. 4 statement on X that he was "never involved in, nor did I participate in, any criminal or exploitative conduct."

"Some past email exchanges have surfaced that reflect poor judgment in tone," Chopra wrote. "I regret that and understand how they read today, given what was publicly known at the time. My focus remains on supporting accountability, prevention, and efforts that protect and support survivors."

Chopra's name appears thousands of times in the Justice Department's so-called Epstein library, though the exact number of emails between Chopra and Epstein or their respective employees may vary due to limitations in the search functionality.

A review of the pair's messages appeared to show the bulk of the communications occurred in 2017 and included discussion on a variety of topics, including Epstein's "girls."

In a February 2017 email to Epstein, Chopra invited the financier on a trip to Israel, writing, "If you want use a fake name . Bring your girls."

After Epstein declined, writing, "next time," Chopra responded, "Your girls would love it as would you. Be well. Sending love."

Later that year, in a November 2017 email, Chopra wrote to Epstein about his upcoming schedule, extending another invite for him and his "girls."

"You should come to my 2 day workshop with your girls in Switzerland in Zurich - small village in suburbs," Chopra wrote. "Will be fun."

The emails also showed the men discussing Chopra staying over at Epstein's home in February 2017.

"Are you going to stay overnight? There are many interesting people in town," Epstein wrote on Feb. 11, 2017. Chopra replied, "I could as long as I can leave 7 AM tomorrow as Ai have meetings. Is that ok?"

Emails between Chopra, Epstein or members of their respective teams also showed the self-help author invited Epstein to his speaking events.

On one occasion, Chopra invited Epstein and “as many friends as he desires” to an event at Chelsea Market in New York in September 2017.

That day, one of Epstein's employees wrote in an email, "Jeffrey has told the girls he wants to leave the house at 4pm today for the Deepak event…please have the suburban out and ready to go at 3:15pm. OK?"
