It has little to do with penatrating men's behinds.  its more to celebrate things like the right to marry, freedom to adopt, etc....especially the right to marry so that any assets are passed down to their partner when one of them dies

I work from home. They had a big Pride luncheon Thursday at the office. I checked the menu and didn't see anything good so I didn't go. If they had something good, I would have gone cause I'm all about free food. Maybe that's how they can become more inclusive; have pizza and stuff. Free food (good free food) brings everyone together no matter their differences.

I thought even the simplest person would get it but let me explain. Until recently being gay was not only illegal but something you should be very ashamed of. No matter where you went and who you talked to, you were suppressed, physically or mentally attacked and told to be ashamed. The concept of Pride is to flip that on its head. When will it end? The day gay people are treated equal and not bashed by bigots. When that day comes, Pride will die as an unnecessary, pointless event.
