The fact he was elected, after the "insurrection," shows nobody cares. It's not paying anyone's bills. It's not putting food on anyone's table. It will not decide the 2026 midterms or the 2028 general election. It's pretty much message board fodder.
A number of folks from both sides gathered in DC on January 6, 2026. I suspect not all these folks spend their time posting on message boards.
January 6th Defendants & Supporters: Marched from the White House to the Capitol, led by figures like Enrique Tarrio, to memorialize Ashli Babbitt and others, sometimes waving signs supporting pardons.
Democrats & Allies: Speaker Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, and others held moments of silence and remembrance at the Capitol, honoring law enforcement and election workers.
Election Workers: Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss were honored at anniversary events for their courage.
Capitol Police: Honored for their defense of the Capitol, with Officer Eugene Goodman receiving accolades in later years.
These groups marked the day with differing perspectives, some viewing Jan 6th participants as heroes and others as threats to democracy.
