Rubio would have been my pick in 2016 if I was a Republican and voted in the primaries.  He will likely be Vance's VP running mate.  Very strong ticket.

If he read Trumps book "Art of the deal" maybe he can negotiate peace and tout that accomplishment for his presidential run.

Frankly, I find it difficult to keep up because comments about what is happening in this war, change hourly and also depend on who is saying it, Trump, Hedgeseth, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, JD Vance, and/or Karoline Leavitt, etc.

Not surprising.  We (the public) always want to be informed, but the military decision makers (Commander in Chief, etc.) should not be telegraphing exactly what we are going to do.

Tehran’s leaders have now summoned Vice President Vance to conduct negotiations alleging they feel stabbed in the back by Trump’s U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who previously led peace talks. Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey are also expected to help mediate negotiations.

You'd think that it was and April fool's joke, but Don Lemon did say he has considered a run for president. Anyone can claim to be better than someone else, including Trump. Proving it is another thing entirely.

I want to say Don Lemon is too dumb to be president, but given that we just had two dumb people as POTUS and VP in Biden and Harris, and one of the frontrunners for the Democrat nomination will be another literally dumb person (AOC), Lemon being a simpleton is not a disqualifier.
