I have no evidence to support the following, so I'd phrase it more along the lines of 'if this turned out to be the case I wouldn't drop dead from shock' but on 9/11 flight 93 that crashed in a field when passengers took action - may have actually been shot down. I don't think it rules out the passengers heroically doing what they did but it came down in a field. Im sus that the shitbags that hijacked the flight would have tried to maintain control just long enough to crash it into a more populated area aong the flight path since they knew they weren't going to get all the way to the capital building.. Again I readily concede there isn't any real evidence to support it but it was just a weird thought that popped into my head at the time of the cowardly scumbag atrocity.

Look at what Jake Barber and his Skywatcher team are doing. A 100% score in luring non human tech. Next step is to disable the craft and capture them.
If such a small team and budget can do this, it's likely much larger companies with much more resources and help from the military have started doing this decades ago.

It's highly likely that there are other forms of life in the Universe - IMO. There are hundreds of billions of stars just in the Milky Way, and if one in 5 stars has a solar system, then there are tens of billions of solar systems. Andromeda is twice as large as the Milky Way. It's actually starting to merge with the Milky Way, and the massive galaxy the union will form has been labeled Milkomeda. Planets and stars are so far apart that it is unlikely the union will cause any planetary collisions. But there might be on or two I think. This whole process will take a few billion years.

I've seen estimates of two trillion galaxies in the Universe. Yes, it is very likely there's life somewhere else. But the distances are so vast, we may never make contact. Unless worm holes exist and provides shortcuts though the Universe.

The moon landing is one that you may want to reconsider. 100% the footage was fake. The idea that we currently haven’t the tech to do it.
