The case came to light in February 2025 when Noisewater was arrested following an investigation by Washington County authorities. A forensic search of his devices uncovered 82 illicit files depicting the ab*se of minors, many sourced from dark web platforms. Prosecutors highlighted the profound harm to victims, noting that such materials perpetuate ongoing trauma.
Judge Xollie Duncan imposed the sentence alongside lifetime supervised release, mandatory s*x offender registration, counseling, and strict internet monitoring. Noisewater, previously with no criminal history, must also pay restitution to victims identified in the materials.
This ruling aligns with Arkansas’s intensified crackdown on digital crimes, bolstered by federal partnerships like Project Safe Childhood. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children logged over 32 million tips on such content in 2024, fueling calls for advanced detection tech.
