have to agree...cringy to say the least but don´t forget "coach" trains future Marines/Soldiers
i would like to know about his own personal Military / police experience ..did he even serve?
Military no, LE I get through all the time in my classes. Most don't train. They do their initial training during their first months after being hired then do their mandatory qualifications periodically. With the exceptions of full time SWAT units like LAPD or LASD (who are flat out badasses) their training is not that much different from how a civilian would be trained. With some variations on a flat outdoor range, the qualifications are the same as I teach as course warm-ups in our courses with the exception of our beginners. Btw, there are a lot of people who enter LE and the military with zero experience with a weapon so Imagine that you have a lot new cops out there that have only had about 6 months learning their firearm and shooting let alone making a decision.
I've been shooting since I was 6, started formally training about 10 years ago and still train 3-4 days week to this day.
If you want to make that LE comparison, here you go. This of course doesn't include SWAT or any CQB, VCQB, etc
