As a concealed-carry holder, I know what I would have done… I would have eliminated that threat. I would have taken that guy out. Would that have helped the girl? Yeah, it would have.

In my case, I would have probably put two shots in him, and I can confidently say that because I can count my rounds, I can count to two. And I would have done my due diligence and hopefully have been able to save that girl.

The only problem with that is they would probably charge you with murder and the woman would condemn you for shooting a poor black man as she was a BLM supporter.

Well, that along with the fact that Coach is not in any way distinct from the 'majority of people' who see something like a frenzied knife attack on a woman and freeze. Given that he has never been a paramedic, policeman, or well-trained soldier, it's rather far-fetched for him to propose that he'd leap up like a coiled spring from his bus seat, immediately double tap the bad guy, and then control a catastrophic bleed from a woman who's just been stabbed three times in the neck and severed her carotid artery, thereby saving the day.

The incident was truly depressing to read about, and the POS should have had his brains blown out long before it even happened, but I doubt it would have played out any differently with Coach on the bus. You'd have probably just ended up with a second casualty from him inhaling his Big Mac as he gasped in horror.

I couldn’t save Henry either. Two shots went about 6” above my head and the rest went Into Henry. We shot at the shooter but he was gone by the time we got outside. Henry took two hollow points. We tried until paramedics got there. Both Lance (the other cop working that night) and I were soaked in his blood putting pressure on his wounds. He died on the operating table with his insides blown apart from rounds and there was nothing they could do. I wasn’t a cop but worked them there. He did manage to give us his dying declaration for his wife. 

I was the only one that witnessed the shooting because I was at the front door and was shot at first and the only that identified him in court. Both my wife and I after that were under police protection for a year because of threats from the Vietnamese gang he belonged to. You know who I did save? Two HS kids that OD’d I at school. One in a class room and one on the field both went into respiratory arrest. Had a few other instances as well where I was able to help. Never been to war but I’ve seen and done enough shit in my life to open my eyes more than most.

And if you carry a firearm and can’t help someone if you have the ability, then why even carry? Would you hesitate protecting yourself? Your family? Are you just going watch that person die and the murderer get away with it?

Gotta agree with PS on not being able to stop the situation. Coach, keep making videos because you’ve got a good camera presence about you, but the dindu stands up without a visible weapon and slashes her throat in a split-second. At what point are we accessing the situation, identifying the threat, drawing the weapon and putting a couple of caps into him? And what if he was just taking out his bag of skittles? Your life is then ruined. And all of the applied pressure in the world wouldn’t have kept her from bleeding out. Nothing could’ve been done except removing these far left activist judges and enforcing the actual law.
