Shawn was as good as he was mostly because John Brown mentored him and he learned how to train hard right from day 1. Without all the hardcore workouts he would have looked stringy onstage. He will be remembered favorably as one of the best all time.

I liked Vince's "Terminator" routine much better than the Macarana one.
I was fortunate to see both Vince and Shawn compete in their prime. Shawn's routines were flawless.

odd in 90 drug tested shoe he showed up smaller/shredded,sunken face,here for 176 he looks huge,,,always like this look better than his ifbb build later,he did a show in 2000's torn pec other wise he was at his biggest even had bigger legs.
