Antifa = Anti-fascist when in fact they are the actual fascists that support real authoritarianism. They don't want you to believe that Trump and his administration are polar opposites of what they claim they are. Now that they've been designated Domestic Terrorists, those that get arrested will be charged with a Federal crime, tried in a Federal court more than likely under terrorism charges.
I know where you're coming from. There's leftist authoritarianism, and there's real bloodlust on the left side for the right-wingers and there's no doubt they would wield power to kill if able. Anti-ICE protesters I read brought a guillotine mock-up outside some ICE office or whatever. It's what's coming if they get the power. At the same time it's possible to critique Trump and the militarism and para-militarism of the Trump admin, from a right wing perspective, and be worried about it. The worry on the right is that these structures will most likely be used to hunt wrong-thinking right wingers in the future. Trump isn't a fascist Nazi obviously, it would be an insult to Nazis to compare them to Trump. Trump brags about being bought by traitor Jews, not very Nazi of him. But he can still be said to have very authoritarian drives, he is not "literally the polar opposite of authoritarian." An authoritarian seeks unchecked, centralized, unilateral power; and obviously Trump balks at any restraints put on him. He is constantly fighting the courts which block some of his moves. And he isn't about asking the American people or congress if they want this regime change or that war
