Niagara Falls (the city) on the U.S. side has been a dump for many decades. Many.
Some people used to think Canada was cheaper years ago because the U.S. dollar was worth more than the Canadian dollar (which it still is) with the exchange rate.
However, it always seemed more expensive to me in Canada. Prices were just higher.
Gas in Canada used to be sold in Imperial gallons which was different than U.S. The Imperial gallon was smaller.
Now they sell it in liters.
A U.S. gallon is 3.79 liters.
Gas Buddy says a liter of gas in Niagara Falls, Ontario is around 114 to 125 cents.
Not sure if that's Canadian or U.S. money.
Anyway, if it's in U.S. that is $1.20 a liter x 3.79 = $4.54 U.S. a gallon regular.
If it's Canadian dollars that's U.S. $.8562 per liter x 3.79 = $3.24 U.S. a gallon regular.
The U.S. dollar to Canadian fluctuates.
I think I did that right.
