Brian has no legs. If he dropped the weight in half and did sets of 12-20 with 30-60 seconds rest between, his legs asshole would explode.

1 more maybe after another rest pause but I try to do all reps with perfect form, I don't like squeezing out reps on deadlift or squat with a breakdown in form.

That 330kg deadlift looked brutal. I like to reset at the bottom and lean back slightly at the top for full lockout. 275kg x 5 is my best full deadlift effort.
Something most people do not do these days, but they should for a complete lift.

This is how you deadlift Hanky, I,m sure Van could do more.
Nice job Ro. Awesome!
The only thing I see is that you might want to move your feet closer together just a little so your knees don't hit your arms at the beginning of the lift.

Ro a question  for you do you enjoy lifting and training, heavy and intense as opposed to being competing as a bodybuilder or do you kinda use them both as a tool to get to an end result.

Well I enjoy training in and of itself, of course competing takes it to another level but also narrows down how one trains and lives so one ends up living like a robot to achieve a look on a day. But I enjoy competing too.

When you lift it's obvious you are a bodybuilder. When I rate someone's strength I always consider how the lift is done. I think if you went on a powerlifting style program in a year you could probably do a clean (PL rulebook approved) 800lbs deadlift.

One variation I liked and hated at the same time, was standing on a block and then pulling one rep to the top, then lower the weight to approximately where the plates would touch the ground without the block. I once did this with 575 with someone counting 7 seconds and then I pulled it up again. Some consider only completely stopped lifts 'legitimate.' If I rep a weight I only let the weights kiss the ground because that gives me several more reps. A circa-max I couldn't pull for another rep if dead stopped becomes a 3 rep set. I don't think I bounce any reps and I don't know if it's even possible to bounce deads to your advantage. If I start the lift from the top it gives me another 1-2 reps. I could talk deads all day long LOL.

Here my training partner when he was almost 50 years old pulling an ugly grinder with 705 at 211lbs. Usually was left searching for his contacts on the ground after. Long IPF career, once got 3rd at the Worlds and best deadlift in his class. Suited best white lighted lift was a 771lbs sumo, so he was no bum, but his lifting was maximal and unusual, always as hard as humanly possible.
