Every single bodybuilding contest he entered a few years back it was always the same thing. About a week or tso before the show he would post about some random illness...

"Woke up sick today. Lost 18 pounds overnight"

"Arm is hurting.  Might have torn a muscle. Can't train arms"

"Threw up all day yesterday. Can't keep anything down. Too weak to train"

I don't recall the exact excuses but it was always something so he'd have a built in excuse if he looked like shit or quit mid-contest.
